The Proposal Writing Workshop will be an intensive overview of the narrative portion of a proposal from the perspective of the reviewer. The workshop will address approaching a sponsor, components of a narrative (including budget), matching the narrative to the sponsors priorities and guidelines, writing style, and common errors to avoid. Sample proposals will be reviewed, and there will be a question-and-answer session. A few DRDA project representatives will be in attendance for the last hour of the workshop to answer questions about budget issues and processing proposals. The workshop will be presented by Chris Kahan Black 8:30 a.m.noon May 17 in the Pendleton Room, Michigan Union. The cost of the workshop is $10 for materials.
