Photo story: Jackson rallies crowd on campus
The Rev. Jesse Jackson headlined several spirited speakers who addressed a crowd of approximately 1,000 U-M students, faculty, staff, and off-campus and out-of-town supporters during the March 29 campuswide protest of District Court Judge Bernard A. Friedman’s March 27 ruling against the U-M Law School admissions policy. On April 5, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals granted the U-M’s request to stay that ruling. Photo by Marcia L.
