Little, former vice president of academic affairs at Bucknell University, became chancellor of the Dearborn campus in July. He also is professor of philosophy.
At the inauguration ceremony, President Lee C. Bollinger saluted Little’s ‘ever-present good-will, his eagerness to make things better and his capacity to take pride in the accomplishments of others.’
Through his contacts with the chancellor search committee, Bollinger said he learned that U-M-Dearborn ‘yearns for a potential yet unrealized.
