Clarification: The “Healing Garden” exhibition on display in the Survivors’ Art Gallery at the Cancer Center is not from the Smithsonian Institution. It is a traveling exhibition from the Society for the Arts in Healthcare. The Health System’s Gifts of Art Program is one of the founding members of the Society for the Arts in Healthcare, and national consulting services training, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, took place last summer in Ann Arbor.
