Photo Story: Ford gets input on election reform
Former President Gerald R. Ford, center, honorary
co-chair of the National Commission on Federal Election Reform, hears
testimony on election reform, voting rights and related issues at a public
hearing held June 5 at the Ford Library. Ford is flanked by Lloyd Cutler,
left, commission co-chair and former White House counsel for Presidents
Carter and Clinton, and Philip Zelikow, commission executive director,
director of the Miller Center of Public Affairs and White Burkett Miller
Professor of History at the University of Virginia. The commission was
holding the fourth in a series of public hearings on election issues.
The topic of the Ann Arbor hearing was The American and
