The third Road Scholars bus tour traveled throughout the state April 30May 4. The tour aims to familiarize faculty with areas of the state that the majority of U-M students call home and to promote interdisciplinary discussion among tour participants. At several sites, community residents and civic and educational leaders joined the Road Scholars for events and to talk about their regions industry, education system, health care and tourism.
