Clockwise, from top right: Gustavo Borges, swimming on the Brazilian team, picked up a bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle relay; Tom Malchow garnered a gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly; Marcel Wouda, who swam for the Netherlands, earned a bronze medal in the 800-meter freestyle relay; Jon Urbanchek, shown here taking a victory dip after winning a Big Ten meet, served as an Olympic official; Chris Thompson won the bronze medal in the 1,500-meter freestyle; and Tom Dolan brought home a gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley and a silver in the 200-meter.
