A traveling exhibition, The Legacy of Marie Curie: 100 Years of Scientific Innovation, will be on display at the Media Union Gallery through Nov. 3. The exhibition highlights the scientific accomplishments of Marie Curie and seven other women who made significant contributions to scientific research. The exhibition, which is on a national tour and was organized by Texas A&M University, will make Ann Arbor its only stop in Michigan. Shown are some of the original pieces of laboratory equipment used by Curie in her work.
The exhibition will be open noon5 p.m. Mon.Wed., noon8 p.m. Thurs.Fri. and 15 p.m. Sat.Sun. Photo by Martin Vloet, U-M Photo Services
