In the Oct. 23 Briefing ‘U-M Press author receives Nobel Prize,’ Nobel Prize-winner Gao Xingjian was incorrectly identified as a senior lecturer in the Department of Translation, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Gilbert C.F. Fong, who translated Gao’s works into English in The Other Shore: Plays by Gao Xingjian, holds this position.
The Oct. 23 Regents’ Roundup incorrectly stated that the ‘Planning and Marketing’ department occupies space in the North Campus Administrative Complex. The department’s name is Public Relations and Marketing Communications.
