This workshop will be a comprehensive overview of the NSF Fastlane proposal preparation system. Though not offered as a hands-on program, the attendee will gain knowledge necessary to prepare a proposal with Fastlane. Topics covered in the workshop include obtaining a login and password, populating the PI information screen, preparing the NSF forms via Fastlane (Bio Sketch, Budgets, Other Support, etc.) and allowing SRO (DRDA) access.
The workshop will not focus on technical issues regarding Fastlane, reporting functionality, or notifications and requests. Future sessions will be offered regarding these topics.
Research administrators, faculty, students and support staff who may submit proposals to the National Science Foundation should attend. The workshop will be held 911 a.m. Sept. 26 in Suite 18, Wolverine Tower. Please register via the Web at www.research.umich.edu/. You will find the information located under Currently Enrolling Workshops.
If you would like a demonstration at your school or college, please contact Kristen Scraggs at DRDA (firstname.lastname@example.org) for scheduling.
