Pre-renovation party planned for Hill Auditorium

Hill Auditorium will be poppin’ April 30 with good wishes for the soon-to-be-renovated building. Well-wishers are invited to join the free send-off celebration with an evening of music and information beginning at 6 p.m.

Cameras and recording devices are welcome to capture memories of sights and sounds.

The program includes a preview of the restored color scheme, musical performances, a tour of the auditorium with previews of what is to come, and answers to questions about this 18-month renovation project.

Interim President B. Joseph White will preside as master of ceremonies with comments by Ken Fischer, director of the University Musical Society, Karen Wolff, dean of the School of Music and Mike Quinn of Quinn Evans Architects.
