Student Cynthia Hanba, a December graduate, won the Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium design competition with her artwork shown above. Hanba and 20 other students created possible images for this year’s events as part of a course taught by Dennis Miller, assistant professor of graphic design. The poster above uses the image of a flag puzzle to represent society’s current struggles and its hopes for the future.
