Police cars sport new look
New U-M police
cars are appearing on campus as the Department of Public Safety replaces
its fleet. Eight dark-blue Ford Crown Victorias have been purchased for
police use and 12 white Ford Tauruses for public safety and parking
enforcement purposes. The old cars, which were worn from severe city
driving and at the end of their leases, will be auctioned in Lansing.
