Knock, knock . . .

Who’s there?

Chances are you’ve walked past this door many times or may have even crossed over its threshold . . . but do you remember where it’s located? Each week the Record will snap a stoop. See if you can guess where it is. If you can’t get a handle on its location, check out the answer in the next Record.

Answer from March 4 issue

The March 4 door, from the University of Michigan Detroit Observatory, stands as a testament to U-M’s history. In 1997–98, the observatory and its 1857 refracting telescope underwent a thorough restoration. The observatory is now a museum and center for 19th–century science, technology and culture.
