In a continuing effort to enhance security at Michigan Stadium, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced new restrictions on items that fans will be allowed to bring to the Nov. 10 game as the Wolverines host the University of Minnesota.

Bags of any size will be prohibited. Fans will not be allowed to carry in purses, fanny packs, backpacks, binocular cases or diaper bags.

Also prohibited are containers of any kind, aerosol and spray cans, umbrellas, seat backs, flags, flagpoles, alcoholic beverages, coolers, thermoses, cups, bottles, cans, flasks, food of any kind, camcorders and tripods, strollers and weapons.

Permitted items include non-pocket and non-zip seat cushions, binoculars without cases, pagers, cell phones, clear and sealed water bottles, small cameras, radios, blankets, and rain apparel.
