The family of Josh Rosenthal, one of the victims of the Sept. 11 tragedy at the World Trade Center, has established a fund at the University in his memory—The Josh Rosenthal Scholarship Fund. An investment portfolio manager, Rosenthal was senior vice president of the firm Fiduciary Trust Company International, working in the South Tower.

Rosenthal, 43, who graduated from LS&A in 1979 with a degree in political science, served on the University’s investment advisory committee. His mother, Marilynn Rosenthal, is a professor of medical sociology at U-M–Dearborn.
