Two cranes alone at night
Bearing illuminated American flags, two cranes aiding construction of the
three-building Life Sciences complex on Palmer Drive glow at night. This
telephoto lens view is a long exposure taken from the top of the Thompson
Street parking structure, looking across Angell Hall and the Natural
Science building in the foreground. The photo was taken the same night as
the Oct. 8 Record front page photo of Burton Tower. Both images
were taken by Martin Vloet, U-M Photo Services.
