Knock, Knock . . .

Chances are you may have passed this door or may have even crossed over its threshold . . . but do you remember where it’s located? Each week the Record will snap a stoop. See if you can guess where it is. If you can’t get a handle on its location, check out the answer in the next Record.

Who’s There?

Answer from Oct. 15 issue

You’ll want to check out the door from the Oct. 15 issue of the Record. It’s a door from the State Street side of Yost Ice Arena. Built in 1922, Yost became the nation’s first field house—home to varsity sports, such as track and basketball. In 1973, it was converted to Yost Ice Arena where the Wolverines face off along with area high school teams, recreational leagues, broomball leagues and other community ice events. A $1.4–million renovation completed this past summer puts the total seating capacity at 6,603. All proceeds from this renovation benefit the Michigan Hockey Scholarship Fund.
