Mindy Sheffen and Chamira Jones add their creative touches to
a mural during a March 28 Evening with the Arts open house hosted
by Arts at Michigan. The organization, which promotes the interests
of art students and faculty on campus, celebrated its first year
of occupancy at its S. University Street location with student musicians,
hands-on art activities, refreshments and an inaugural show of student
art. Nearly 200 guests joined in the celebration. |

Arts at Michigan sponsors Campus Days advisory and information
sessions for prospective students in LSA, art and design, kinesiology,
engineering, music and nursing. The final session is 2:40-4:30 p.m.
April 11 at 1220 S. University St. Current staff and students will
answer questions about how to study the arts at U-M, how to join
the many student arts organizations on campus, how to find a job
in the arts, how to find the hundreds of arts resources on campus,
and how to make time for the arts in a busy student schedule. For
