Broadway Bridge project to begin soon

The outbound Broadway Bridge is expected to close near the end of the week as a two-year city of Ann Arbor construction project begins. The Broadway Street bridges over the Huron River and railroad will be demolished and replaced. One inbound (toward downtown) lane of traffic will be maintained at all times during the project. All outbound traffic will be detoured via Huron Street to Glen/Fuller Road. Other alternate routes to cross the river and travel north and east include: Geddes or Washtenaw avenues to Huron Parkway, and N. Main Street to M-14 East. For more information on the bridge replacement project, visit http://www.broadwaybridges.org.
