Williams presents lecture series

Prof. Ralph Williams will present a lecture series entitled "The Plays of the Royal Residency" in conjunction with the Michigan Residency performancesof Royal Shakespeare Company.

Williams invites the public to join his regular class for the lectures. No registration is required for observing the class.

The texts of the playsa stage adaptation of Salman Rushdie's "Midnight's Children," along with William Shakespeare's "Coriolanus" and "The Merry Wives of Windsor" constitute the reading for the course.

The lectures will continue Mondays from 7­8:30 p.m. through April 14. Some will be held in East Hall, Room 1324, 525 E. University; others will be held in rooms to be announced later.
