Don't Miss: Ann Arbor Summer Festival 20th anniversary

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2003 with a full entertainment and musical lineup June 13-July 6.

The 2003 Power Center Series kicks off at 8 p.m. June 14 with the MOMIX dance company in "Baseball"the group's tribute to the national pastime. MOMIX also will perform "Baseball" at 2 p.m. June 15.

Fifty-six different musical acts will perform over 24 evenings at the Top of the Park (TOP) series, just south of the Power Center. Jeremy Kittel, Johnstown Cats and The Ambassadors Big Band open TOP June 13.

"We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years of serving the community with the best of the best in talent in the Power Center and with a fabulous roster of Top of the Park entertainment," says Evy Warshawski, festival executive director.

During the festival, the Power Center lobby will host the exhibit "20 Years of Festival Posters by WC Burgard."

Tickets are available through July 5 at the Michigan League ticket office. From June 14-July 5, tickets also can be purchased at the Power Center ticket office 90 minutes before or up to 30 minutes after each performance begins.
