Award-winning IT research on CDs

William Gosling, director of the University Library (right), accepts CDs from Daniel Morrow, executive director of the Computerworld Honors Program. The CDs contain the permanent research collection of award-winning case studies that have documented advances in information technology since 1988.

The collection was formally presented during a Feb. 12 campus awards ceremony that acknowledged scholars whose work is now part of the historical archive. A total of 65 projects developed by U-M faculty and staff are included in the Computerworld collection, which is available through the University Library and 80 other premier libraries, museums and research institutions in 30 countries.
