Don't Miss: U-M Life Sciences Orchestra concludes third season with April 13 concert
The nation's only Life Sciences Orchestra (LSO), made up of members of U-M's medical and
science communities, will conclude its third season April 13 with a 2 p.m. concert at Ann Arbor's Pioneer High School, 601 W. Stadium Blvd.

The group, which includes faculty, staff and students, will perform Aaron
Copland's "Ceremonial Fanfare," Ludwig van Beethoven's "Symphony
No. 8 in F Major," Maurice Ravel's "Pavane pour une infant defunte,"
and Peter Illyich Tchaikovsky's Fantasy Overture to "Romeo and Juliet."
Music director Laura Jackson, a doctoral student in the School of Music's noted conducting program, will lead the orchestra. Admission
is free; donations will be accepted to help support the orchestra. A reception will follow.
The LSO was founded by students and staff from the U-M Health System (UMHS),
and is a program of the UMHS Gifts of Art program. For more information,
