News briefsDirector of Housing candidates to make presentations The Division of Student Affairs is nearing the end of its search for a director of University Housing/assistant vice president for student affairs. Four candidates will visit campus and make public presentations during the last week of January. The on-campus interviews will be: 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Pond Room of the Michigan Union (Carole Henry, University of Connecticut); 2 p.m. Jan. 27 in the Wolverine Room of the Michigan Union (Frankie Minor, University of Missouri); 2 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Pond Room (Michael Coakley, Northern Illinois University); and 2 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Pond Room (Fred Fotis, University of British Columbia). Research faculty awards nominations sought The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) invites nominations for outstanding research faculty for three awards to be given in fall 2004: the named Collegiate Research Professorship, the Research Faculty Achievement Award and the Research Faculty Recognition Award. U-M-Flint school among best business schools U-M-Flint's School of Management has been selected for inclusion in the 2005 edition of "The Best Business Schools."
