Items from the U-M Museum of Art's (UMMA) "Nature
Transformed: Wood Art from the Bohlen Collection" exhibit:
'A Tree Runs Through It' by Ronald Gerton (above left), and an
unit led work by Ray Allen made of mesquite, satinwood and bloodwood.
The collection, showing through Oct. 3 in the museum's Twentieth-Century
Gallery, contains more than 70 wood pieces donated to UMMA in 2002
