"Debbie will be remembered for her cheerful personality, willingness to always help, strong work ethic and caring disposition," says Marvin Krislov, vice president and general counsel. "We miss her every day."
Thompson worked for three years in the OVPGC.
"Debbie touched the lives of many people with whom she worked, and many of us were fortunate enough to call her 'friend.' Her ready laugh and genuine interest in the lives of people around her made her a friend to all who knew her," says Lynette Kosky, Thompson's supervisor in the office.
Thompson was born Oct. 19, 1958, in Meridan, Miss. Survivors include her fiancé, Charlie Stuart of Ypsilanti; her daughter, Brandi Thompson of Canton; and her mother and stepfather, Rebecca and Woodrow Holder of Tennessee.
