Ann Arbor artist Susan Skarsgard, who is
in her final year of graduate study at the School of Art & Design,
stands with her creation: a line of 20,000 daffodils at the Nichols
Arboretum. The project, called Imagine/Align, was designed to provoke
a rethinking of the idea of lines, borders and imposed definitions,
Skarsgard says. More than 150 volunteers helped with the project.
