Rosina Bierbaum, dean of the School of Natural Resources and Environment, has been elected to the board of trustees for the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research. Bierbaum will serve a five-year term as trustee beginning Feb. 25, 2004.

George Kenyon, dean of the College of Pharmacy and the Tom D. Rowe Collegiate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, has been elected the 15th president of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB). He was elected Oct. 12 at the IUBMB's General Assembly in Montreal. Kenyon will serve as president-elect from 2003-06 and president from 2006-09.
