U-M and others launch mathematical monographs

The university libraries of U-M, Cornell and Gottingen in Germany have announced the first public availability of a significant body of mathematical monographs, with access provided through a distributed full text search protocol. The collection, comprising more than 2,000 volumes and 600,000 pages of historical mathematical material, can be found at http://www.hti.umich.edu/m/mathall/ . Volunteers needed to plant bulbs

Volunteers are needed to help plant 10,000 daffodil bulbs in Nichols Arboretum. A thesis project by master of fine arts candidate Susan Skarsgard, the plantings will take place Oct. 4, 5 and 12.
