The Journal of Oncology Practice will focus on the administrative aspects of cancer care, including outcomes research. |

The Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine has presented its 2005 F. Marian Bishop Outstanding Educator of the Year award to Matthew Boulton. The award is given for outstanding contributions to teaching and education in preventive medicine and public health. Boulton is the School of Public Health's associate dean for practice, an associate professor of epidemiology, and director of the Preventive Medicine Residence. He also is director of the U-M Bioterrorism Preparedness Initiative. |

The Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners has named Susanne Quallich of the Department of Urology and School of Nursing, its Nurse Practitioner of the Year. She is one of only 38 nurse practitioners in the country with a specialty certification in urology. |
