Students living in the residence halls and the Northwood III undergraduate apartments can donate clothing, shoes, food and toiletries, bedding, and household items. There also will be "take it or leave it" areas located near each hall's loading dock.
Information on donation is at http://www.recycle.umich.edu/grounds/recycle/student_move-out.html.
The city of Ann Arbor also has issued a reminder for off-campus residents on proper disposal of items.
"The City of Ann Arbor and the U-M Campus Neighbors coalition have teamed up to help the move-out of students who live in off-campus housing go as smoothly as possible, for students, property owners, and the city and community," Vice President for Student Affairs E. Royster Harper wrote in an e-mail to students.
More information for off-campus students is available at http://www.offcampus.housing.umich.edu/lt/ under "2005 Spring Move Out" in the new and notable section.
