Don't MissThose who teach, canand doin 2004 School of Art & Design faculty exhibit The School of Art & Design's 2004 faculty exhibition is on display through Jan. 29 at the Jean Paul Slusser Gallery in the Art & Architecture Building.
The school's full-time faculty members offer a snapshot of current creative practices. More than 45 artists and designers, ranging from early- and mid-career to well-established practitioners will be showcased. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The exhibition is the first collective showing of the school's full-time faculty since 1997. It will give faculty, staff, students and the Ann Arbor community a close look at the broad range of creative resources that fuel the unit's teaching and creative enterprises. The exhibition is a comprehensive mix, including more than 100 works spanning a range of media from paintings, prints and ceramics to installation, performance and electronic works. The work ranges from illustration to conceptual pieces. An opening night reception was held at the gallery Dec. 10.
