Detroit Tigers take a swing for Mott

The fundraiser happens when the Tigers will meet the Kansas City Royals at
7:05 p.m. at Comerica Park. Tickets are $20, and $10 of each ticket sold through Mott through the end of June will go to the "Champions for Children" campaign.

Children's Hospital of Detroit also will sell tickets to benefit their facility. The hospital that sells the most will get to name a representative to throw out the first pitch.

Last year, UMHS sold more than 1,700 tickets to beat out Children's Hospital while collecting $17,260 for the hospital funding campaign.
