Each October during Investing in Ability Week the Office of Institutional Equity presents the James Neubacher Award to a faculty or staff member, student or alumna/alumnus for significant achievements in promoting acceptance and awareness of people with disabilities; advocating for the civil rights of people with disabilities; or removing barriers to full participation in programs and services for people with disabilities. Regents to meet May 19 at U-M-Dearborn

The Board of Regents will hold its monthly meeting 2-4 p.m. May 19 in Dining Room C of the Fairlane Center South on the U-M-Dearborn campus. Public comments will be heard at 3:30 p.m. Individuals with disabilities who wish to attend the meeting and need assistance should contact the Office of the Chancellor at (313) 593-5330
