Anthony England, associate dean
for academic affairs in the College of Engineering, and professor
of electrical engineering and computer science and of atmospheric,
oceanic, and space sciences, is the recipient of the 2004 Institute
of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Judith A. Resnik Award.
The award, which celebrates outstanding contributions to space
engineering, is being given to England for his significant contributions
to the development and application of spaceborne microwave radiometry
to remote sensing.
England will receive the award Sept. 23 at the International Geoscience
and Remote Sensing Symposium. |
