The first ever Fantasy Football Experience fundraiser Aug. 3-4 gave 116 Michigan fans a chance to participate in a camp to benefit the "Men of Michigan" Prostate Cancer Research Fund. U-M head football coach Lloyd Carr helped lead the two-day event, open to Michigan fans from across the country. Each "player" got his own personalized locker in the U-M team locker room and donned authentic practice and game apparel. Participants learned about strategy, experienced a pre-game warm-up at Michigan Stadium, caught passes, kicked extra-points and more. (Photo by Martin Vloet, U-M Photo Services) |
