Composer Louis Andriessen blends minimalism with robust harmony and instrumental color. His anti-establishment style has drawn composers and musicians around the world to his native Amsterdam to study. He will perform with the U-M Symphony Band at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Power Center for the Performing Arts.
