Record takes a winter break Feb. 27
The University Record will not publish an issue Feb. 27 due to the annual winter break. The Record will resume publication March 6. The deadline for submissions for that issue is 5 p.m. Feb. 28. Check www.umich.edu/urecord for breaking news and updates.

HRAA seeks workplace award nominations
Members of the University community are invited to nominate University staff members for the Workplace 2006: U-M Staff Recognition Awards. The Office of Human Resources & Affirmative Action will honor staff members who have made marked contributions to the mission and work of the University with three awards.

The Distinguished Service Award honors an individual staff member who has provided distinguished service to the University and to the community. The Exemplary Team Award honors a group of University staff members who have functioned as an exemplary team, formally or informally. The Outstanding Leadership Award honors an individual staff member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, vision and initiative.
