LSAmagazine honored with CASE medal
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has awarded a silver medal to LSAmagazine in the category of Best Alumni/Institution magazine for universities of 10,000 or more students in its district. LSAmagazine, the biannual LSA alumni magazine, entered two issues for consideration by CASE judges, one focusing on pop culture and another on the 2004 election.

"LSAmagazine is a bright, confident publication that is highly professional but doesn't take itself too seriously; the result is a treat for the reader," wrote a team of judges from Northeastern University. "We appreciated the clear commitment to conceptual exploration and innovation as shown in the Hollywood LSA and pop culture features. Equally impressive is the interesting use of photography—both excellent conceptual photography and ordinary photographs used in creative ways."

CASE presented the medal at a ceremony in Chicago Dec. 13.

Regents to meet Jan. 20

No early morning parking on Bonisteel
To assist with snow removal efforts on North Campus, parking along Bonisteel Boulevard will not be allowed from 2-6 a.m. daily during the winter months. Signs reading "no parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.—tow away zone" will be posted when this regulation is in effect. The restriction and signs will be removed during non-snow seasons.

Changes at State Street commuter lot
Two significant changes to enhance traffic flow at the State Street Commuter Lot near the U-M Tennis Center were implemented Jan. 13. The traffic patterns for the two driveways were reversed and the bus boarding and deboarding locations moved. The north driveway has been designated as the entrance and the south driveway as the exit. Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) buses will board passengers at the northeast corner of the lot near the north entrance. Passengers will de-board next to the handicapped parking area between the two driveways. For more information, call AATA at (734) 996-0400.
