The free exhibit, "Bollywood Satirized" features large-scale photo collages by Annu Palakunnathu Matthew. An associate professor of art at the University of Rhode Island, Matthew challenges sterotypes prevailant in India's film industry, which produces close to 1,000 films a year. "I re-interpret the images to make blatantly satirical commentary and humorously challenge traditional gender roles and behavior in Indian society based on my experiences," the artist says.
