to raise money for local organizations

The Rackham team brought in approximately $8,800. Students in Rackham were sponsored though a school-wide Health and Wellness Initiative launched by Dean Janet Weiss. Some team members posed after the event. The women (from left) are: Lisa Hsu, Linda Cunningham, Salena Whitfield, Nese Nasif and Shanthi Ramnath. The men: Nick Ball, Blake Nicholson, Tom Lyons, Mike Stevens, Grant Sormunen and Matt Remy.

An LSA team of Bisera Vlahovljak, (team captain) administrative assistant associate with the International Institute; Rachel Facey, students services associate, Center for Russian and East European Studies; Sandra Morawski, office assistant, Center for Japanese Studies; and Gloria Caudill, administrative assistant intermediate, Center for Chinese Studies raised $558 May 20 for the American Diabetes Association by walking to support research, advocacy and services for people affected by the disease.
