U-M receives $1M to increase transfers

The University aims to quadruple its enrollment of low- and moderate-income community college transfer students during the next four years with the assistance of a $1 million grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. National Center for Institutional Diversity names fellows

The National Center for Institutional Diversity announced March 6 four faculty teams that have been selected for the winter/spring term to conduct research, develop new courses, and begin or expand collaborations with community partners on projects that aim to encourage dialogues about race and ethnicity, broaden understanding of health and educational disparities, and find ways to empower marginalized people.
