Vivian Osemlak of Palmer Installation maneuvers a desk into an office in the Perry Building addition March 17. Approximately 120 Survey Research Operations staff from the Institute for Social Research will begin moving into the addition this week. The move is expected to save ISR nearly $1 million per year and facilitate contact between SRO/Survey Research Center staff and other ISR centers. Workers spent last weekend moving office furniture and boxes belonging to staff members into the new space. ISR Assistant Director Dorothy Russell says the goal is to keep SRO up running during the transition and to have everything moved out of Eisenhower Place, the group's current home, by early April.
