See what's happening with VOICES during open house May 15

VOICES of the Staff team volunteers will host an open house May 15 featuring poster presentations showcasing the first year of VOICES projects.

VOICES was launched in February 2005 to give staff, at all University campuses and the Health System a stronger voice for developing and sharing ideas about the campus community topics that matter most to staff.

The open house is 3-5 p.m. at the Window Café on the third floor of Palmer Commons, 100 Washtenaw Ave. Light refreshments will be served.

Regents to meet May 19 at U-M-Dearborn

The Board of Regents will hold its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. May 19 in Dining Room C of the Fairlane Center South on the U-M-Dearborn campus. Public comments will begin five minutes after the conclusion of the regular business agenda.

Individuals with disabilities who wish to attend the meeting and need assistance should contact the Office of the Chancellor at (313) 593-5330.

CES call for proposals on Europe

The Center for European Studies (CES) invites faculty members to submit proposals for individual, departmental or collaborative programs focusing on Europe.

Awards range from $250-$2,000. Projects may include collaborative research projects, seminars or conferences, invitations to distinguished visitors, and special events, including a film series. Requests should include a short description of the project or event; project budget with cost-sharing sources indicated; and a list of faculty or departmental collaborators. Deadlines for submission are July 1 for fall and Nov. 15 for winter.

CCC seeks help with Survivors' Day decorations

The Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking assistance in creating centerpieces and wall signs for its Cancer Survivors' Day Celebration—Energize Your Life: Get Movin'—June 11.

Items can be made from found objects and decorated with messages of hope. Suggestions are available at www.mcancer.org.
