Photo: "Laramie Project" at Mendelsohn Theater

The Laramie Project Nov. 17-20 at the Lydia Mendelsohn Theater is a powerful look at the human experience and the need for tolerance as it examines the effect of a hate crime--the murder of Matthew Shepard--on Laramie, Wyo. Eight ensemble cast members are, front row, from left, Kyla Embrey, Sari Goldberg and Erin Farrell; back row, Edmund Alyn Jones, Karenanna Creps, Adam H. Caplan, James Wolk and Patrick Chu. They portray over 50 residents and guests in Laramie. For tickets to the Department of Theatre and Drama production, call the Michigan League Ticket Office at 764-2538. (Photo By Peter Smith)
