Former VP Gore
will address climate change

Former Vice President Al Gore, a worldwide champion for the environment, will deliver the 5th Annual Peter M. Wege Lecture at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Power Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets for the event have been distributed to faculty, staff and students; however, approximately 600 overflow tickets to view "A Special Lecture on Global Climate Change" at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theater in the Michigan League will be available beginning at 9 a.m. Oct. 5 at the Michigan Union Ticket Office. at Rackham

Microsoft Chairman William (Bill) Gates has been awarded the College of Engineering’s (CoE) prestigious Goff Smith Prize, and he will deliver the annual Goff Smith Lecture at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 in Rackham Auditorium. More>


University to invest $2.5 million in team teaching, ethics curriculum
