This pause applies to undergraduate, transfer, Rackham graduate programs, non-Rackham graduate programs and professional programs. Admitting offices may communicate to applicants any decisions that were made on or before Dec. 29.
During this brief pause, admitting offices will continue to accept applications from students to U-M academic programs. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications for the specific programs as early as possible within the published deadlines.
On Dec. 29, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a short-term delay in the implementation of Proposal 2 as it relates to the current admissions and financial aid cycles at U-M, Michigan State University and Wayne State University. The delay had been ordered by U.S. District Court Judge David M. Lawson on Dec. 19.
In a motion filed on Dec. 11 the universities originally requested the delay in the interest of fairness to all applicants.
