JQube is an instrumental trio that fuses funk, rock and jazz. The group features Ann Arbor based jazz guitarist Jake Reichbart, drummer Dan Eichinger and bassist Jacob Chmara. What started out as unique interpretations of jazz standards and pop hits soon blossomed into a sound that combines hard-hitting funk with a concentrated melodic approach. JQube boasts a large repertoire of original tunes and offers its own take on popular songs by artists ranging from Jimi Hendrix to the Police to the Pet Shop Boys.
