Chris McCall, pictured, and Mick Dobday perform jazz standards at 12:10 p.m. Oct. 26 at the, University Hospital Main Lobby. With a voice that is supple and expressive yet rich and mellow, McCall reinvents jazz standards and classic love songs with power and wonder. Singing runs in her Detroit family, as her mother was a choir director and her father performed with Sammy Davis Jr. and Jerry Lewis.
